How to import File Ripped by MacTheRipper to iMovie, Final Cut, or QT?

MacTheRipper is an application for Mac users to backup their DVDs on Mac. The output video files are in .VOB format and you can play back the movie with VLC or Apple DVD Player. If you want to edit the output files with iMovie or other video editing tools to create your own masterpiece, you need to convert them first.

Below is the step by step tutorial about how to convert ripped file to iMovie compatible format.

First, you can download the trial version of iMedia Converter for Mac. It is a powerful Mac video converter for you to convert either the whole "Video-TS" folder or just convert certain segment of the movie. Follow the easy steps below to convert your ripped files:

1Load Video-TS folder to the program

Drag & drop the "Video-TS" folder to the program. If you just want to convert certain segment of the movie, use the split function to get any segment of the movie you want.
