How to Play the VOB Files from MacTheRipper on Mac?

When you finish the ripping, you can find a folder under the name of VIDEO_TS. This folder can be opened in the Apple DVD player or in VLC.

Below are the easy steps about how to play ripped movies after ripping them with MacTheRipper.

1Open DVD Player on Mac

Head to "File" menu of the DVD player, then choose "Open DVD Media" for importing your DVD files.

2Choose Video-TS folder

For this part, choose your wanted Video_TS folder like the image below. One DVD disc contains files like audio, video and other DVD data. For this part, Video_TS, which includes the main video data, should be chosen.

3Play the movie

If you wanna put the ripped movies on your portable player or your phone, you need to convert it first. Some video converters make the DVD Ripping process a little bit troublesome like some don't allow you to import the whole Video-TS folder for conversion and you need to select VOB files one by one manually, usually causing disorder or missing parts.
