Related how-tos: How to move iTunes library from one to another on Mac

DVD disc Home Sharing in iTunes 9 allows you to stream and transfer music, movies, TV shows audiobooks and applications with up to five other computers on your local network. This is good news for those who have two or more computers at home.

Movies, music videos, and TV shows are all now playable on any Mac on your network you authorize via Home Sharing. By authorizing the computers with the same iTunes account, your Home Share libraries should appear in your source list. Below is the step by step tutorial.

Step 1: Open iTunes

Step 2: Go to "Advance" menu and choose "Enable Home Sharing" and you'll find this Home Sharing icon on the left-hand side of iTunes.
