iPad, iPhone or iPod, whatever you have, is absolutely an amazing portable device for you to have a great entertaining time anywhere and anytime. Suppose you have an iPhone, you can browse the latest news, watch the live NFL at any place you are, check email and of course play games. And Apple limited iOS users to review, purchase, and download applications only via App Store – a built-in app center, where you can find millions of apps in all sorts.

After the iPhone to internet connection, you are open to a plethora of apps. By the way, to download apps on the App Store, you are required an Apple ID. Haven’t an Apple ID? There are two methods you can create an Apple ID:
Create Apple ID for downloading apps
- Via App Store: Go to Settings -> scroll down to Store -> tap on Sign In -> Choose Create New Apple ID -> locate your country -> Read the Terms and Conditions and Apple Privacy Policy and agree it -> Enter your account info -> Enter your billing information and continue to follow the instruction.
- Via iTunes app on your iPhone: open iTunes app -> tap on Purchased -> Sign In -> choose Create New Apple ID and then follow the Apple ID creating instruction. The following steps are as the same as you do in creating your Apple ID via App Store app.
- Via iTunes on your Mac or PC: Apple ID instruction
Note: The App Store is not available in all areas and the contents may differ by area.
Browse and download apps
You can find apps by tapping Featured, Categories or Top 25, or enter the name or keyword in the search field.
Rate or review an app
Go to the app’s information screen and scroll down to the bottom where you can rate and review the app.
Share your favorite apps
You can tap on “Tell a Friend” and enter a Mail address of your friend.
If you’d like to send this app you find to others as a gift, you can tap on “Gift This App” and follow the instructions on your device screen.
Note: If you haven’t logged in a Mail account on your iPhone, you need to set up a Mail account first.
Redeem a gift card code
If you received a iTunes gift card and wanna redeem it so you can download some charged apps, you can go to Featured and scroll down to Redeem, then you will get a detailed onscreen instruction. Or you can redeem the iTunes gift card via iTunes on your computer.
Download your previous purchases
App Store supports you to download your old purchased apps in case that you deleted them by accident: go to Updates and tap on Purchased, then you can redownload your previous purchases.
Delete apps
To delete your installed app, you can simply touch and hold the app icon on your device creen then you will get a jiggling app icon where you will see the delete button “X” at the left top corner of the app icon, press it. If you wanna erase every app and all of your data and settings, you can go to Settings -> -General -> Reset -> Erase All Content.
