Mac OS X snow leopard could ship on 28th Aug

Snow leopard is rumored to come to the golden master status, which means it is ready for public consumption. Snow Leopard is now expected to be released in two weeks, that is August 28th( expectation comes from John Gruber) instead of officially announced Sep.

Amazon has take pre-orders for Snow Leopard, priced at $29 for the single user license and $49 for the five-license family pack. This update price is only for Mac OS X, 10.5 Leopard users and this significant update is only available for Intel-based computers. Good news for those who got bought a qualifying new Mac or a qualifying Apple Certified Refurbished computer on or after June 8, 2009, an even cheaper upgrade is available for them, only $9.95 plus tax.

So, exactly when will this "The World's most advanced operation system" come out, August 28th, or even earlier August 24th (another circulating expectation), or Sep. as officially announced? Just keep an eye on it.
