This step by step guide shows you how to rip DVD Movies to iPod video and audio and how to put them on your iPod/iPhone. iSkysoft DVD to iPod converter is an powerful yet easy-to-use video converter for Mac OS X users to convert DVD movies for playback on iPod.

Step 1: Add DVD Movie

Click the "Load DVD" button, find the DVD folder of the movie you want to add from your hard disc or DVD-ROM, open your DVD folder, select the VIDEO_TS folder and click OK.

Or, click the "Load IFO" button, find the DVD folder of the movie you want to add from your hard disc or DVD-ROM, open your DVD folder, open the VIDEO_TS folder, select all IFO files and click "OK".

After you add your movie, you can select any titles or chapters that you want to convert by ticking the check boxes before them.

Step 2: Output Settings

On the left side of the main window, you can name the output file for the selected title/chapter, select a subtitle to put on your movie, and select an audio track.

At the bottom of the window, select an output format like MP4, M4V and MP3, and then click the "Settings" button to set the video and audio encoding settings and select a directory folder to save the output files.

Format: This software supports iPod touch, iPod classic, and iPod nano, iPod shuffle. Plus, it also supports conversion for iPhone, Apple TV and PSP, so you can select a proper output format according to the name of your device conveniently in default output format list.

If you want to convert all chapters or titles to iPod in one output file, you can check the "Merge into one file" option.

Step 3: Start Conversion

After setting the output settings, you can just click the "Convert" button to start converting your Movie. You can choose to shut down your computer automatically after conversion if you don't want to wait around during conversion.

Step 4: Put your DVD movies on your iPod or iPhone

Connect your iPod or iPhone to Mac and start iTunes. Find the converted movie and sync it to your iPod or iPhone. That's it. Now you can enjoy your movies on your iPod breezily!
