1. How to convert DVD or Video files on Mac OS X?

1Launch iMedia Converter for Mac and Load DVD or Videos

Drag & drop the DVD disc icon DVD disc on the desktop or video file(s) to the grey area. Or go to "File" menu, choose "Load DVD" or "Add Video/Audio files" and navigate to the files you want to add.

After a DVD or video files are imported successfully, you will see all of them listed in the program with respective thumbnails:

Note: The defaulted setting only read main feature of the DVD movie for conversion, without DVD menu and the movie just starts playing right away. If you want to import the whole DVD, go to "Preference" and unchecked "Load main title of the DVD"

2Choose a format from output format list

iMedia Converter for Mac can convert both DVD and video to any popular video or audio format for playback on ipod, iPhone, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch, PSP, PS3, Cell Phone, Apple TV, Zune, Creative Zen, MP4 players, MP3 players and so on.

2. How to split DVD movie or video clips?

1Open the Split window

Move the pointer over the thumbnail of DVD or video you want to trim and choose "split" from the pop-up menu.
Or you can go to "Edit" menu and choose "Split".

3. How to crop DVD movie or video clips?

1Open the Crop window

Move the pointer over the thumbnail of DVD or video you want to crop and choose crop from the pop-up menu. Or you can go to "Edit" menu and choose "crop".

Select an output aspect ratio and the available options are: Keep Original, Full Screen, 16:9 and 4:3. You can also drag the rectangular selection frame to set your favorite displaying area.

4. How to merge several videos or DVD chapters into one?

1Import videos to the program

Drag video clips to the program, and you can change the order by simply dragging around.

5. How to capture pictures (BMP, JPG) from video?

When you find your favorite sceen while previewing the video, pause it and then click "Snapshot" button under preview window to capture the current frame of DVD movie or video.

You can go to "iMedia Converter" menu, choose "Preference" to open the snapshot files folder or to change the snapshot files folder path or image format (JPEG, BMP).

6. How to add image or text watermark to DVD movie or video on Mac?

1Load DVD or video and open Watermark window

Move the pointer over the thumbnail of DVD or video you want to watermark and choose watermark from the pop-up menu.

Step 2: In "Edit" window, check "enable". You can add image the video, or type the words in your favorite font in the text window and click enter to add text watermark. By dragging the slider left and right, you can easily change the position and the size of the watermark. Add stylish watermark to announce the authority of your movies now!
