Launch Video Converter for Mac and Add Videos

Drag & drop video or audio files to the program. Or go to "File" menu, choose "Load Media Files" to locate the files you want to add.

Choose the Video or Audio Output Format

Simply choose an output format at the bottom format tray. Your video will be converted to the format that appears at the tray button. Click the tray button will hide the format tray, giving your more space. If you choose one of the Apple devices as the output format, the output files will be automatically added to iTunes after the video conversion. If you don't want it, change it in Preferences > Convert tab.

If you just want to extract audio from video on Mac OS X, choose audio format (MP3, WAV, AAC)

If you want to resize video, you can change video and audio settings manually, say, set a lower bit rate to compress the video. To do so, just select a format and you'll see a Gear button that appears at the top right corner of the format icon. Click it to open the settings dialog and customize the output settings as you want. Note that Smart Fit technology ensure the best settings are used for the selected format. Only change it if you know what the option means.

If you want to join several video files into a single file on Mac, just drag and drop all your files to the app, and then switch on Merge mode at bottom, or head to File menu > Merge > to merge all files into one. By doing so, you will get only one output file instead of multiple separated files.

Open Video Editing Window

Click the Edit pen icon of the video item bar and a video editing window will show up as below. Thus you can rotate, trim, crop your video and add effects, watermark and subtitle with ease. You can also directly go the specific tab by the Edit menu on top.
