Backup Apps from iOS/Android Devices to Mac

The storage on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Android phone is limited. That’s the reason you have to backup photos, videos, and songs from device to computer, then remove them from your device, preparing space for new items. It’s the same with apps. For some apps, you may not use them currently, but still want to backup them for future use. In this case, backup them to your Mac via dr.fone for Mac.

Step 1

Launch dr.fone for Mac. Connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Android phones with your Mac through a USB cable.

Click “Apps” on the top of the software to see all apps on your device. Check to select the apps you want to backup and click “Export”. Find a destination folder on your Mac to save the exported app installation package.
