Tips for iSkysoft iTransfer

Manage Music Playlists

Playlist is a great way to manage multiple single songs, especially if you have a bulk music library or have dozens of songs on your device. Creating a playlist on your device manually can be boring and time-consuming. Actually, you can do it very quickly with iSkysoft dr.fone:

1. Create a Music Playlist

Step 1

Launch dr.fone for Mac and connect your device with your computer through a USB cable. Next, make sure the software recognizes your device successfully.

Step 2

Click “Music” tab on the top of the main window. There is a “Playlist” list in the left sidebar, displaying all the playlists on your device. Smart playlists are included as well.

Step 3

Right-click on the playlist area, choose “New playlist” to create a new playlist.

2. Add Music to a Playlist

Step 1 Add Music from Computer to a Playlist

Whether you’re going to add songs to an old or a newly created playlist, the procedures are the same:

1. Click the playlist in the left sidebar.
2. Next, click “Add” button on the right side of the window.
3. Browse your computer to add songs to the playlist.

Step 2 Add Songs to a Playlist from the Music Library on iPhone/iPad/iPod/Android Device

Select the songs you want to add to a playlist in the music library management window by ticking them. And then right-click on the window, select “Add to playlist” > (your playlist name).

Step 3 Add Songs from Playlist A to Playlist B

Click the Playlist A to show all songs there > check songs you want to add to Playlist B > right-click on the window, select “Add to playlist” > (your playlist name).

3. Remove/Delete a Playlist on iPhone/iPad/iPod/Android Device

There are 2 ways to delete a playlist on your iPhone, iPad, iPod and Android device.

Option 1. Click the playlist in the left sidebar > then click the “Delete” button on the top of the window.

Option 2. Right-click on the playlist in the left sidebar > choose “Delete”.

4. Transfer Playlists from iPhone/iPad/iPod/Android Device to Mac

If you have created the playlists on your device, then you might want to transfer them to Mac for backup. You can make it via dr.fone for Mac as well. Right-click on the playlist in the left sidebar > click “Export to Mac”.

5. Transfer Playlists from iPhone/iPad/iPod/Android to iTunes Library

There is no quickly and direct way to transfer selected playlists from iPhone, iPad, iPod and Android devices to iTunes. But you can transfer all playlist to iTunes Library via the “Rebuild iTunes Library” feature. Either in the main window of dr.fone for Mac or the Toolbox, after clicking “Rebuild iTunes Library”, you can see the file types that can be transferred.
