Stefano, the converted files can only be saved with the time of last modification. While you can change the file name to add your creation time in it.

I use this to convert the MTS files to AVI. The problem is that it does not preserve the creation date. This is a real pain since I organize my photos and movies by date.

Good essay. I just find this issue. But it seems that MTS works for iMovie when MTS is in the camcorder.

OK, newbie question. Trying to convert Video_TS DVD to iMovie on Mac OSX so I can watch the video on my computer and on iOS devices. Drag the folder and/or the individual files to iSkysoft Converter Deluxe, but it won't accept it. Is the MTS to iMovie what I need?

Hey, I am trying the new video converter, When I want to convert Fraps movie into iMovie source file I can choose between H.264 and mpeg-4. I want to convert lossless and keep the full quality, why cant I convert with codec NONE? Ton

I found if i convert mts to mov it became jerky when playing back on imove, i used MTS converter from the app store, converted to MP4 and the quality and smoothness was great
