Import Songs and Videos from iPod to iPhone 5/iPhone 4

Just got a new iPhone 5/ iPhone 4S and want to transfer music and movies from you iPod to your new iPhone? Or you want to share some of your favorite songs or funny videos with your family who has an iPhone. So, how to transfer your iPod content to iPhone? If you have a Mac, you can do this by copying your iPod content to your Mac (Snow Leopard, Lion included), and then sync them to iPhone. Below introduce 2 free ways to do this.
Note: If you want to transfer all music or movies including iTunes Store purchases and others from other source, or you just want to copy some music or videos to iPhone without replacing the original content, go to method 2!
Method 1: How to Copy iTunes Store Purchases from your iPod to Mac
1. Open iTunes.
2. From the Store menu, choose Authorize Computer.
3. In the dialog that appears, the Apple ID button is selected by default. If you have an AOL account, select AOL.
4. Enter your Apple ID or AOL screen name and password, then click the Authorize button.
If the iTunes Store purchases on your iPod or iPhone were purchased with multiple accounts, you will need to authorize the computer for each one.
5. Connect your iPod or iPhone to the computer. If your iPod is synced with another iTunes library, the following dialog may appear:

6. Click the Transfer Purchases button, Or, you can right-click (Windows or Mac) or Control-click (Mac only) your iPod in the iTunes Source list, then choose Transfer Purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.

Method 2: Transfer all iPod music and videos to your iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S

Install SyncPod and connect iPod and iPhone 5 to Mac

Transfer your iPod music and videos to the local iTunes
Click "Music" or "Movies" playlist and then drag and drop your wanted files to the right region. No matter what category you opened on your iPod iTunes library, the right part, say, your local iTunes library would be showed automatically and be synced ground. You even can sync the whole category to your local iTunes also by dragging it to right column.

Transfer songs and movies to your iPhone 5
As the previous step, select iPhone on the top left and you then drag your target media files from the right of the main interface to the left. It also works with any kind of files, say, music, videos, playlists, audio books etc.
Note: 1. The iPhone must be connected with its "home" Mac. If it's not, this method doesn't work. 2. If the files your transferred are purchased on iTunes store and your iPod isn't connected to its home Mac, you need authorize the Mac first: launch iTunes B> "Store" > "Authorize this Computer...".
